Appointed Executive Director of Performing Arts in April this year, Kate Dundas surely can do no wrong. With a career spanning from roles as the Director of ABC Radio and the Deputy Secretary NSW Government Arts & Culture as well as qualifications in Communications, Ethical Leadership and English.  Kate Dundas is well and truly the best person for the job.

Within her directorship at the Opera House Kate Dundas oversees the artistic vision on-stage, on-site and online, leads the event operations and production teams and services, as well as providing support for the work of the Opera House’ Flagship Resident Companies.

Studying at Hornsby Girls High School and then completing her tertiary education at Charles Sturt University and the University of Melbourne, Kate Dundas is an example of how experience, skill and connection to the community can foster the best kind of environment for great arts to grow.
