We check in with Greg Carey of artist management company Grow Yourself Up

From The Rubens to Urthboy, Greg Carey has a lot on his plate. Running boutique artist management company and record label Grow Yourself Up, Cary has explored innumerable avenues of the industry before landing here.

With beginnings as the Director of Umbrella Music, Greg Carey is now the Co Chair of the Australian Artist Management Association and is the Owner/Founder of Grow Yourself Up.

Umbrella Music acted as an agency in both a PR and Artist management capacity, catering to the publicity needs of local Sydney venues including The Bald Faced Stag, as well as events thrown by Newtown brewery Young Henry’s. This company was put in a hiatus after Carey made the decision to focus on the management side of the business.
