Studying at Monte Saint Angelo in North Sydney and then on to tertiary education in composition, music and conducting, Simone Young had the foundation she needed to have a fantastic career in music.

Simone YoungWith a focus on opera, Simone Young has conducted for The Sydney Symphony Orchestra, The Berlin State Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera.

With innumerable international and Australian performances up her sleeve Simone is one of the country’s most celebrated conductors. She is currently the head of the Hamburg State Orchestra.
